 Blueberry Cinnamon Cake

Ingredients:
1 pint of blueberries
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 pinch nutmeg
1/4 pound butter, 1 stick softened
2 large eggs
1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking powder


Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. In a small bowl, combine blueberries, 1 tbs flour, 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.  Set aside.

3. In a large bowl, cream butter, 1/2 cup sugar, vanilla, eggs, and then add 1 cup flour and baking powder.

4. Gently fold in blueberry mixture.  Pour into a greased, square baking dish 8 x 8.

5. Bake for 45 minutes.

6. Double the recipe and bake in a 9 x 13 baking dish.  Top with whipped cream and decorate with blueberries and strawberries to look like an American flag.
